Work Contents of the Department
The Ecommerce and Digital Systems Division is leading Nestle Japan in our digital journey.  We are seeking an IoT Program Manager to drive the global development of connected devices and digital services.

 

Job Description
The IoT Program Manager will be responsible for:
•Manage Nestle Japan IoT end to end Program and strategy to execute design, development, and  implementation of customer-facing IoT services.
•Lead/Coordinate global cross-functional teams (Business, IT, Security, Engineering, Operations, and others to execute IoT strategy and projects in alignment with center teams.
•Manage projects from concept creation through implementation.
•Collect, maintain, and manage requirements for IoT features, connected App, quality and compliance, and cybersecurity to ensure the delivery of robust and compliant solutions according to Nestle policies.
•Collaborate with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify and ensure effective data requirements, data capture and analytics of IoT products.
•Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, milestones, deliverables, detailed tasks and resource requirements. Manage stakeholder expectations.
•Create and maintain project schedules and project budgets. Ensure decisions and outcomes are documented appropriately. Communicate project status including risks to all project stakeholders.
•Seek consensus and alignment on an IoT platform strategy and roadmap for the market in collaboration with others on the team, while ensuring alignment of company objectives, product vision, and user feedback.
•Work with sales, marketing, and operations to define analytics requirements and models for successful leveraging of IoT data
•Be equally at ease discussing tech details with dev team and communicating strategy to leadership team.
•Act as a liaison between customer and internal groups. Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments.
•Identify and rectify roadblocks for successful program completion.
•Apply Project Management principles, practices and techniques for development and implementation of Cold Jets IoT technology initiatives in our two major product lines.
•Develop and own tech partner relationships as necessary.

Required Experiences, Knowledge, Skills

【Experience / Skills, etc. (Mandatory)】
•Bachelor’s degree, in business, computer science, engineering, or a related
•Minimum 5 years technical experience in an engineering or IT role
•3- 5 year’s experience leading and managing software-based projects
•2 years product management experience (in addition to technical experience)
•Strong knowledge of software development or engineering processes is required
•Experience managing or developing software

 

【Experience / Skills (Nice to Have)】
•Experience managing or developing software
•Demonstrable IoT project experience or willingness to learn
•Experience with IoT cloud data services
•Industrial automation, or related experience
•Previous IoT project management or development experience
•Data analytics and Customer service experience is a plus

 

Qualification
Age: Up to around 35 years-old, since we wish you to have a long-term career
Industry / Job experience: 3-5 years of experience in ecommerce operations
Education: University or higher level degree
Language: Fluent English (writing, reading and speaking) *Japnase is not necessary, but the official language in Nestlé Japan is Japanese.
Required Qualification: Nothing

Working Conditions

Annual Income: Around 6,600,000 to 9,300,000 yen (Pay Basis: Monthly) *It will be determined in consideration of age, experience and skills.
Bonus: Bonus-Twice a year / Salary increase-Once a year (April) *It will be determined based on work conditions and, individual and company performance.
Allowance: Commuting expenses (paid according to company regulations) etc.
Holidays: Annual holiday 123 days / 2 days off per week (day off: Saturday, Sunday, Public holidays, Summer / New Year holidays) etc.
Paid leave: 10 days in the first year (Given on the start day) up to 20 days
Working hours: 09: 00-17: 45 (break 60 minutes, actual work 07 hours 45 minutes) Discretionary Working System for Management-Related Work
Social Insurance: Health Insurance/Employees’ Pension/Unemployment Insurance/Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance
