Position Summary

 

Work Contents of the Department
The Ecommerce and Digital Systems Division is leading Nestle Japan in our digital journey. The mission of the Digital Systems and Operations Department is to ensure we provide the best digital experience to our customers across all digital touch points in order to help them discover our products and become loyal subscribers or purchasers. To support our mission, the Senior Technical Specialist is a key member of the team in charge of the technical implementation and support of new solutions for customers in order to provide the best digital experience. 

 

Job Description
The Senior Technical Specialist will collaborate with other technical team members, E-commerce and relevant business stakeholders to implement and support new solutions for customers in order to provide the best digital experience. Senior Technical Specialist will be responsible to lead all the phases of implementation from requirements collection, design, development, testing, and release. The Senior Technical Specialist will work with internal technical team members and external development partners to design and implement new digital solutions or enhance existing ones. 

Required Qualifications, Experiences & Skills

 

【Required Qualifications】
Age: Up to around 35 years-old, since we wish you to have a long-term career
Education: University or higher-level degree
Language: Business level English (writing, reading and speaking). Proficient in business Japanese, N1 level.

 

【Experiences or Skills (Must Have)】
Must have Experience and Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience in coordination of technical team members to implement new solutions or enhancements to existing solutions
• Ability to Interact with business customers to understand and document their business processes and requirements
• Ability to perform technical gap analysis to identify our e-commerce systems configuration and development changes
• Minimum of 3 years of Design and implementation of systems within e-commerce/e-business space.
• Minimum of 3 years of application development experience with web applications (PHP, Java, Java Script, or Python)
• Experience with architecture design for application on cloud services like AWS and Azure
• Advance knowledge of SQL to query, extract, and create scripts for routine maintenance or enhancements

 

【Experiences or Skills (Nice to Have)】
• Previous experience working with Magento e-commerce solution or other major e-commerce solutions
• Previous experience working with Drupal CMS 
• Any AWS certification and experience working with cloud environments
• Familiarity with new development frameworks
• Experience working in DevOps environment

Working Conditions

 

Annual Gross Income: Around 6.0 to 8.0 mio yen (Pay Basis: Monthly) *It will be determined in consideration of age, experience and skills.
Bonus: Bonus-Twice a year / Salary increase-Once a year (April) *It will be determined based on work conditions and, individual and company performance.
Allowance: Commuting expenses (paid according to company regulations) etc.
Holidays: Annual holiday 123 days / 2 days off per week (day off: Saturday, Sunday, Public holidays, Summer / New Year holidays) etc.
Paid leave: 10 days in the first year (Given on the start day) up to 20 days
Working hours: 09:00~17:45 (Break 60 min. actual work 07 hours 45 min.) After a certain period Discretionary Working System for Management-Related Work (After a certain period)
Social Insurance: Health Insurance/Employees’ Pension/Unemployment Insurance/Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance
Benefits: Retirement Allowance System, Defined Contribution Pension Plan, Nest-egg Savings (Housing/Pension), Childcare leave, Care Leave, Housing Benefit, Training system etc.
