POSITION SUMMARY

Also includes the co-ordination and implementation of best practice and business initiatives and continuous improvement.                               
 

                                                                                                                                  
A DAY IN THE LIFE …

 

  • Responsible for the implementation and review of necessary programs and procedures for the conduct of production operation in a manner that ensures the safety of all personnel and the wellbeing of material, equipment and other assets of production department.     
                                            
  •  Planning, Leading, Organizing and controlling production operations to ensure product availability according to established requirements of sales per schedule at standard cost in accordance to product quality specification and within the framework of company rules and standard operating procedures. 
             
  • Implement continuous improvement program for in the various areas of production such as efficiency, productivity, raw and packaging materials losses, product quality and safety among others by setting examples and leading in the implementation of initiatives.

 

  • Responsible for the training and development plan for all personnel of production department according to training needs, strengths and weaknesses, with the aim of developing an effective and efficient production group.

                                   

  • Follow up of the Implemented necessary programs and procedures for the conduct of production operation in a manner that ensures the safety and wellbeing of all personnel, materials as well as equipment and other assets of production department.            
                                
  • Responsible for implementation of hygiene standards for all personnel as well as equipment, work environment & processes to guarantee production of safe & quality products.

                                               
 

ARE YOU A FIT?
 

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a technical field, preferably food manufacturing or consumer goods industry (as Supervisor, or other similar positions).
  • Personnel Supervisory experience (with technical teams, contractors).
  • Participation in multi-disciplinary teams aiming to process or packing optimization.
  • Work following defined KPIs/Objectives, and proactively tracking them.
