DPS / MRP Planner
Detailed Production Scheduling Planner (DPS) / Material Requirement Planner (MRP), this is your challenge

As a DPS / MRP Planner, you are responsible for the control and coordination of product components and packaging materials. You collaborate with the Global Team and the production team to create the most effective production planning in accordance with market demand, taking into account the efficiency of the factory and demand from various markets. You have the following responsibilities:
DPS
- create an efficient production schedule using various tools within SAP that fits within the allocated capacity;
- align the DPS (Detailed Production Scheduling) plan with the production team, publish it, oversee compliance with the plan, and participate daily in operational meetings;
- manage the process using a daily scheduling cycle;
- respond to changes;
- collaborate with the MRP planners to ensure that material availability does not impact production plans and identify the best solutions to protect customer service in case of shortages;
- continuously seek improvement opportunities within the planning area;
- ensure that all planning master data is regularly reviews and updated;
- regularly discuss production cycles, batch sizes, and other constraints with the Supply Chain Team;
- ensure that capacity is up to date and accurate, and communicate any changes to the relevant departments;
- reporting and analysis of relevant KPIs.
MRP
- planning/purchasing of all different components and close collaboration with the production and quality departments;
- maintenance coordination with internal and external partners;
- continuously initates improvements;
- responsible for MRP reporting and necessary actions.
As DPS / MRP Planner you will report to the Manager Operations & Warehouse.
What we are looking for in our DPS / MRP Planner?
- an enthusiastic colleague who knows how to take initiative;
- at least 3 years of work experience in MRP and production planning and the ability to quickly navigate a complex organization;
- education: a completed HBO/MBO+ education;
- excellent communcation and analytical skills;
- fluent in Dutch and English;
- knowledge of Excel, Globe, SAP, and ERP systems. Experience with Slim4 is a plus.
