We are looking for a:

 

Material & Recipe Specialist 

(full-time, 40 hours per week)

 

As a Material & Recipe Specialist, you will work in the Application Group. You are responsible for the entire product recipe lifecycle: from new product brief and development to its launch. You are accountable for all recipes and ingredients in regard to product compliance (safety, regulatory and internal requirements) as part of the Compliance by Design and Compliance by Manufacture processes. You establish best practices and guidance & develop product formulation expertise. You collaborate with local  teams and are the first point of contact for all ingredients and recipes within the factory/co-manufacturing scope.

 

The main primary tasks:

As a Material & Recipe Specialist, your responsibilities include:

  • Managing the local recipes and ingredients portfolio (30–500 recipes, 100–1500 ingredients)
  • Supporting factory optimization and compliance projects
  • Ensuring product compliance in various markets (geographies include EU, AMS & AOA)
  • Implementing and adhering to approval workflows for ingredients and recipes
  • Reporting compliance KPIs and collaborating with global/regional teams
  • Providing training and support for corporate MRM tools (CAT, DevEx, SAP-RM)
  • Preparing documentation and specifications for Regulatory Submissions

 

We expect the following from a Material & Recipe Specialist:

  • At least a master’s degree or engineering degree in Food Sciences or related field
  • 3–5 years of operational experience in production, QA, product development, or project management
  • Multilingual: English required, plus French, Spanish, or German
  • In-depth knowledge of product & process, Nestlé Quality Management System & NCE
  • Experience with continuous improvement methods
  • Strong analytical skills, pragmatic, autonomous, and proactive
  • Good communication skills and experience with coaching/teaching
  • Affinity with automated systems and process installations

 

As a Material & Recipe Specialist, you report to the Global MRM lead for the category and are part of the Operations department of MCO Health BV.
