Project Accounting & Controlling Specialist, this is your challenge

As a Project Accounting & Controlling Specialist, you are responsible for all the accounting and booking for projects as well as handling all the invoices and related payments and have the following responsibilities:

Project Accounting & Controlling

• financial responsible for two major CAPEX projects;
• the link between the business (Finance) and the project team (Engineering/Project Managers/End-to-End);
• supporting the End-to-End Project Manager in the expenditure control and project cost management in general;
• accurate, timely and complete financial reporting;
• analysing the results and determine if they are in line with the project budgets;
• preparing forecasts to detect discrepancies in a timely manner;
• accurate recording and processing of costs leading to the CAPEX.

SAP Finance migration

• you will be part of a large international project team (with 2 other finance colleagues) who will support us in the migration from current ERP system (Exact Globe) to SAP;
• co-responsible for the design, recording and testing of the accounting & costing part of SAP;
• the migration process will take approximately twelve months.

As Project Accounting & Controlling Specialist you will report to the Co-pilot Finance Supply Chain.

What we are looking for in our Project Accounting & Controlling Specialist?

• an enthusiastic colleague who knows how to take initiative;
• at least 3-5 years of work experience in Project Control;
• experience with SAP;
• hands-on mentality;
• critical and able to challenge de business;
• education: HBO Business Economics, Finance & Control or Accounting.
