Junior Regulatory & Scientific Affairs specialist (RSA) – NHW ‘Good for you’ (G4Y)/ Market nutritionist this is your challenge:

The Regulatory and Scientific Affairs team is responsible for the creation, validation and translation of the (mandatory) label text which should be in line with EU and local food regulations and internal general guidelines. As Junior Regulatory & Scientific Affairs Specialist (RSA) (60% of your time) -NHW ‘Good for you’ (G4Y)/ Market nutritionist (40% of your time) you have the following responsibilities:

  • Implement local G4Y strategy across categories, which is aligned with Global, Zone Europe and Zone Category G4Y strategy. Ensure a holistic and consistent roll out and execution within the market;
  • Understands, develops and shares competitive and nutrition science knowledge to drive and shape local G4Y strategy, to inspire innovation and create compelling communication stories;
  • Ensure local food regulation, FOP labelling systems (Nutri-score) and Marketing to Children guidelines are implemented locally;
  • Assessing recipes according to EU and local food regulations and internal guidelines;
  • Creation, validation and translation of the (mandatory) label text according to the EU and local Food regulations and internal Nestle guidelines;
  • Responsible for assessing and approval of packaging and communication materials (e.g. advertisements, TV commercials, Instagram posts, etc.) according to applicable regulations/ guidelines.

 

As Junior Regulatory & Scientific Affairs Specialist (RSA) -Good for you (G4Y)/ Market nutritionist you report to the Senior RSA Manager NL and you are part of the RSA-NHW Benelux team (Operations BNL) in Amstelveen, Nestlé Netherlands.

 

What we are looking for in our Junior Regulatory & Scientific Affairs Specialist (RSA) -Good for you (G4Y)/ Market nutritionist ?

  • University/bachelor's degree in food law and/or Nutrition & Health/ Dietetics;
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Regulatory /Nutritionist team, FMCG or equivalent (public health nutrition organization, food association, industry or governmental authorities) with a good knowledge & experience in nutrition & science;
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, French is a pré ;
  • Can navigate in a complex business environment with strong skills in stakeholder management;
  • Is proactive, independent and is able to communicate easily with different (senior) stakeholders.
