Procurement Internship – Nestlé Benelux

What will you do?
At the Benelux Procurement department - part of the Supply Chain Operations Netherlands division – we handle the purchase of all raw materials, packaging and services necessary for our products and operations. As a Procurement Intern, you’ll join a dynamic and experienced team based at our head office in Amstelveen, and work closely with the Global Procurement team.
Starting February 1, 2026, you will take on a variety of responsibilities that allow you to grow your skills and make a real impact.
Your tasks will include:
- Driving sustainability initiatives by coordinating the roll-out of the Sustainable Sourcing Audit (SSA) program across key suppliers;
- Supporting strategic buyers in developing and implementing Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) frameworks and activities;
- Enhancing procurement performance through KPI tracking, compliance monitoring and identifying improvement opportunities;
- Participating in international procurement projects, working alongside strategic buyers on cross-functional initiatives, contributing to sourcing strategies and supplier collaborations.
This internship will allow you to experience how procurement connects business strategy with operational execution from sustainability and supplier management to innovation and efficiency improvement.
Who are you?
You are action-oriented, detail-focused and eager to learn. You take initiative, think critically and like to structure your work in a clear and organized way. You’re comfortable communicating with different stakeholders and enjoy taking ownership of your projects.You bring:
- You are a Bachelor’s, Master’s or HBO/WO student;
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken;
- Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus;
- A critical and open mindset, able to challenge the status quo and propose improvements;
- Affinity with sustainability, procurement and FMCG;
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
