As Regulatory & Scientific Affairs Specialist, you have the following responsibilities:
- act as the primary regulatory point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations concerning product composition and communication;
- create, validate, and translate mandatory label text in line with EU and local regulations and internal guidelines;
- assess recipes according to EU and local regulations and internal guidelines;
- evaluate and approve communications material (artworks, advertisements, TV commercials, Facebook posts, etc.) according to applicable regulations;
- stay informed about new and upcoming regulations, informing internal stakeholders of their impact on the Nestlé brands you work with;
- assess sustainability claims in collaboration with relevant market stakeholders.
As Regulatory & Scientific Affairs Specialist, you report to the Head of Regulatory & Scientific Affairs NL and you are part of the Regulatory & Scientific Affairs department of Nestlé Netherlands.
What we are looking for in our Regulatory & Scientific Affairs Specialist?
- a bachelor's or master's degree in a scientific field (dietician, bio-engineer, food technologist, etc.);
- relevant experience in a similar function;
- fluency in both Dutch and English;
- attention to detail and a careful approach to daily tasks;
- a proactive attitude with a drive for action and results;
- an affinity for German or French is considered an asset.
