Supply Planner, this is your challenge

 

This role is responsible for managing the supply for the Benelux Market by replenishing the Distribution Centers with optimal stock levels to fulfill forecasted demand. The role acts as a single point of contact for supply topics for the Market.

 

As Supply Planner you have the following responsibilities:

  • ensure supply & availability of products to fulfill deliveries on time, at the right place with the correct freshness, while trying to minimize Working Capital and Total Delivered Cost;
  • establish and periodically review stock policies for Finished Goods using the right tools and processes;
  • work closely with the demand planner to manage shared objectives (e.g., service level, on-time availability to grasp commercial opportunities, etc.);
  • provide Generating Demand teams with input regarding stock availability, and exceptions that may impact business performance;
  • drive fast, appropriate actions to minimize the impact of supply risks - shortages and excess stocks - and communicate the actions to the respective stakeholders;
  • monitor and analyze Demand and Supply Planning performance using the appropriate measures and tools;
  • contribute to Innovation and Renovation projects with flawless planning and execution of Supply Planning tasks.

 

As a Supply Planner, you will become part of the European Planning Team. In this position, you will directly report to the Regional Supply Lead while maintaining strong connectivity with the Benelux Market and the local Demand & Supply function that operates in the Market.

 

Locally, you will work together with all departments within Operations (Customer Service, Logistics, Quality, Procurement), as well as with Commercial Teams (Marketing, Sales). At the European level, you will need to build strong relationships remotely with your counterparts at the factories/co-manufacturers and have proactive contact about urgent matters, stock policy, and long-term projects. You will have an opportunity to make a difference by leveraging supply planning capabilities, collaborating in a dynamic environment, and supporting the objectives.

 

What we are looking for in our Supply Planner?

  • University degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or any other related field and MBA/MSc in Business or other related discipline;
  • minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain/Operations, ideally in FMCG;
  • adaptable, agile, communicative, excellent team player, able to work autonomously and remotely, with strong negotiation and convincing skills;
  • analytical, results-oriented, and resilient;
  • ability to prioritize job effectively and support multi-tasking activities is vital for successful performance;
  • good knowledge of SAP (R/3), APO, Microsoft Power BI is a plus;
  • fluency in English; Dutch or French is a plus.
