As Head of Corporate Communications and Corporate Affairs, you will enhance and protect Nestlé’s reputation and integrity as a recognized leader in Nutrition, Health and Wellness and positively impact employee engagement.  
 

As Head of Corporate Communications and Corporate Affairs, you will have the following key responsibilities:


•    Translate in the Netherlands the core corporate communication priorities and initiatives from the Nestle Group (for example: core values/purpose, sustainability agenda, climate change roadmap, diversity & inclusion).
•    Develop and execute internal and external integrated communication strategy and campaigns, assets, messaging and QAs to support corporate positioning and enhance reputation.
•    Protect and enhance Nestlé’s reputation and integrity as a recognized leader in Nutrition, Health and Wellness by delivering effective media relations and acting as a company spokesperson.
•    Provide functional leadership in Corporate Affairs and Corporate Communication i.e. the co-ordination of all communication concerned with company issues - both internal and external.
•    Ensure corporate preparedness for issues and crises, building internal capacities and external stakeholder relationships, ensuring that the negative impact of an eventual critical situation is minimized.
•    Trusted Advisor to the management and other functions/businesses, providing expert communications advice and guidance.
•    Manage issues and crises, devising robust communication strategies and developing ad hoc position statements and QAs.
•    Manage all activities related to corporate design, i.e. maintenance of corporate symbols, logo, brands, graphical look, etc. 
•    Effectively lead, motivate and develop the corporate communications team (2 ft).  

 

In this role you will be reporting to Market Head Netherlands. With an indirect reporting line to the EMEA Head of Corporate Communications.

What we are looking for in our Head of Corporate Communications and Corporate affairs?

 

•    10+ years strategic corporate communications and corporate affairs experience in different business functions in FMCG related industries (experience in Nutrition, Health and Wellness is highly desirable).
•    University degree, preferably with a communication degree.
•    Experience in Senior level negotiation, conflict resolution and crisis situations.
•    Strong believer in sustainability.
•    Ability to maneuver in a consistently changing environment and adapt to business challenges, multitasking, re-prioritizing projects and communicating priority updates to business partners.
•    Strong forward thinking with track record of successful management of communications and corporate affairs plan.
•    Ability to operate cross-functionally and knowledge of external business drivers.
•    Excellent organizational and event planning skills.
•    Strong communication expertise, both written and verbal.
•    Sound know-how in public relations in the Netherlands media landscape.
•    Ability to prioritize, network, influence, motivate and energize.
•    Team management experience, in particular the management of specialists.
•    Business fluency in Dutch and English (verbal and written).
