At Nestlé Confectionery, that is the name of our choco team, as a Marketing, Category management & Finance intern you are at the right place to work with the team on fantastic chocolate brands, such as KITKAT, NESTLÉ L'ATELIER, LION, ROLO , BROS, SMARTIES. "Have a break, have a KitKat" has been KITKAT's famous slogan for years and ROLO's TV commercial was voted the best of the century.

As of August 1, 2022, we have room at the Nestlé Netherlands headquarters for an all-round commercial business intern in our most delicious department: Chocolate. You will work for all our chocolate brands in the field of Marketing, Category management & Finance. As a Marketing, Category management & Finance intern you have the following responsibilities:

  • Communication: support in setting up and rolling out communication campaigns, maintaining the social media accounts of KITKAT & NESTLÉ L'ATELIER and the website www.nestle-chocolade.nl;
  • Activations: support development and rollout of in-store activation campaigns;
  • Packaging: support for new artworks for packaging designs;
  • Product: optimizing portfolio and analyzing product introductions, promotion effectiveness and competition;
  • Research: support in analyzing the chocolate market, category and Nestlé brands and making recommendations to both sales and marketing from consumer data;
  • Finance: Assisting the business controller in calculating performance and profitability at product and customer level;
  • Support the commercial team with daily activities.

A unique opportunity to work as a Marketing, Category management & Finance intern in various areas at a global brand in a large international FMCG company. In addition to setting up and rolling out advertising campaigns, there are promotions on the shop floor and we look at new product launch opportunities. We also look at how we can optimally match our existing range to the wishes of the consumer. Sustainability is important to us and we work on this every day through the Nestlé Cocoa Plan, but also by introducing paper packaging for Smarties, for example. You will be involved in both internal and external meetings and you will have to deal with multiple departments internally. Will you support us in this?

 

In addition to hard work and a lot of learning, the social side of an internship should of course not be missed! Due to the open and informal atmosphere at the office, there is always room for fun or a coffee break. In addition, there is a close-knit intern community at Nestlé! Activities are organized such as a Q&A with the CEO, a pub quiz, escape room, drinks and more!

An internship at Nestlé lasts 6 months and starts on 1 August 2022. In principle, you do an internship at our head office in Amstelveen. We prefer full-time (collaborative) trainees, but it is possible to deviate from this in consultation (state this clearly in your motivation letter!).

  • WO/HBO student;
  • Affinity with FMCG industry;
  • Handy with Excel.
