Data Analyst Trainee

Type of Employment: Internship for 6 -12 Months

Minimum Educational Qualification: Graduate in statistics, Data Analyis with Agricultural background  preferred but not mandatory.

Minimum relevant work experience: Up to 6 months to 1 year relevant work experience.

Nestlé Research & Development Center is currently looking for a Data Analyst Trainee who will receive technical and organizational support and assist with data analysis for various trials.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL?  

• Graduate in Statistics, Data Analysis, Data Science, or a related quantitative field. An agricultural or biological sciences background is an asset, but not mandatory

• 0–1 year of relevant academic or professional experience (including internships, thesis work, or applied projects)
• Demonstrated ability to independently analyze experimental data, including:
  • Application of statistical tests (e.g. ANOVA, regression, hypothesis testing)
  • Multivariate analysis (e.g. PCA, clustering, correlations)
  • Design and analysis of experiments (DoE)
  • Clear and insightful data visualization and reporting
• Strong proficiency in statistical data analysis with statistical software / programming tool like R or Python. Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, would be an advantage.
• High level of rigor, autonomy, and analytical thinking when working with complex datasets
• Availability to start immediately
• Professional working proficiency in both English and French
