Position Summary

As a Packaging Specialist at Nestlé R&D in Abidjan, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Powder Filling & Packaging platform and driving packaging development activities within the Early Childhood Nutrition category.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and Support R&D packaging engineering projects for the Nestlé Nutrition category.
  • Conduct feasibility trials and work cross-functionally on packaging and technology development projects
  • Assist the Powder Filling & Packaging platform with packaging deployment and technical assistance projects in Sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Drive packaging development and innovation initiatives for the Nestlé Development Unit focused on healthy cereal solutions

 

 

What will make you successful

 

  • Master’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical/scientific discipline.
  • At least 5- 8 years of field experience (R&D or Operations), demonstrating expertise in your area.
  • A proven track record of achieving results through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Operational experience in food equipment:
  • Systematic and rigorous mind
  • Problem solving approach
  • Project management involving cross-functional teams
  • Supplier management
  • Open minded and driven by curiosity, always keen to learn new things and explore new opportunities.
  • Exceptional leadershipcommunication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English & French.
