Minimum Relevant work experience: 2-3 years proven experience of Supply Chain Knowledge of Transport Management

Nestlé CWAR is currently looking for a Transport Officer at our Nestle Abidjan office who ensure outstanding delivery service at a minimum transportation cost whilst maximizing Safety, sustainability, and Security. Also optimize deliveries of the Distribution Center as per business needs while keeping operations effective & smooth within the Distribution Centre. Coordinate inter-site transfers to ensure stock availability at DC
Your Responsibilities……
- Check the compliance of invoiced transport costs
- Ensure stock availability for locals deliveries
- Ensure full delivery of customer orders through provision of right truck size
- Analyze performance results from Delivery reports and implement measures if necessary
- Ensure efficient vehicle capacity utilization
- Aid line manager in effective planning monitoring and cost savings
- Transport process improvement through regular review of controls
- Driving cost savings initiatives
- Monthly meetings with Transporters to evaluate operations within the period and improvement areas
- Provide detailed analytics for management to make decisions on the Transport spend and strategy
- Undertake Pallet management
- Set up performance indicators
- Participate in SHE Observation awareness sessions
What Will Make You Successful?
- Preferably 2-3 years proven experience of Supply Chain Knowledge of Transport Management
- Project Management exposure
- Has demonstrated good working relationships with cross-functional teams e.g. Technical, Customer Service & Distribution Centre.
