Factory Total Performance Management (TPM) Manager

Location: Agbara Factory, Ogun state.
Position Type: Full-Time (On-site)
Minimum Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Minimum Relevant Work Experience: 3 years + Factory experience, preferable acting as Production or Maintenance Manager. 3 years + Practical experience with TPM implementation, preferably with exposure to Japanese Institute of Plant Maintenance award or should have participated in the TPM Coaches Course.

The Factory TPM Manager drives the consistent implementation of Total Performance Management in factory, ensuring the alignment with Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) initiatives.
A day in the life of the TPM Manager:
- Strategic Preparation & Management:
- Integrate TPM with key initiatives and departments.
- Coordinate support from external consultants where needed.
- Ensure TPM drives both performance results and cultural change aligned with the factory/market vision.
- Lead Goal Alignment processes.
- Communicate TPM progress and outcomes to the factory’s Executive Committee.
- Drive the factory’s digital transformation according to the rollout plan by overseeing Digital Manufacturing Operations (DMO) modules and other digital tools.
- Supporting & Coaching:
- Support factory manager and pillar leaders to drive TPM implementation.
- Lead, coach, and motivate teams, fostering a positive and empowered culture.
- Promote a mindset shift toward a “Zero” loss philosophy.
- Coach pillar leaders/managers in TPM methodology.
- Coordinate TPM training across the factory.
- Planning and Informing:
- Lead the Promotion Campaign for TPM in the factory
- Participate in defining and executing the Factory TPM Master Plan
- Lead and drive factory digital roll out plan
- Assessing and Diagnosing:
- Assessment of the implementation progress in the factory.
What Will Make You Successful?
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 3 years + Factory experience, preferably acting as Production or Maintenance Manager
- 3 years + Practical experience with TPM implementation, preferably with exposure to Japanese Institute of Plant Maintenance award. Should have attended a TPM Coaches Course.
