Position Summary
You will provide the necessary competence in Factory Automation System (FAS), Process Control System, and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to effectively support manufacturing operational activities and ensure continuous improvement.
A day in the life of an Automation & Electrical Engineer

Propose and implement work processes, procedures, and technical resources in line with Engineering Policy, Key Principles, and the Electricity & Automation - Manufacturing Execution System (E&A-MES) Activity as outlined in the Nestlé Engineering Excellence (NEE) master document.

Coordinate personnel (e.g., technicians, instrument filters, contractors, etc.) to ensure the fulfillment of Automation and MES objectives.

Propose and control the Automation and MES component of the site M&I budget and any capital projects.

Monitor the Automation and MES in accordance with key performance indicators.

Demonstrate and promote the company's values and integrate them within Automation and MES.

Manage Energy/Water/SHE to ensure optimum energy/water consumption at the factory level, while implementing proper M&I activities and respecting SHE policies.

Ensure the existence of an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations within the Automation and MES team.

Encourage all team members to question the impact of their work on product safety/quality, people safety, and the environment, with zero compromises tolerated.
What will make you successful…

3 years of experience in a technical field, preferably in the food manufacturing or consumer goods industry (e.g., Maintenance Supervisor, M&I or E&A/MES Manager, or similar positions).

Responsibilities in Fixed Assets Maintenance, including the preparation, definition, control, and follow-up of maintenance budgets, with exposure to TPM, preventive maintenance planning, and execution.

Experience in personnel supervision, working with technical teams, mechanical and electrical contractors, suppliers, or other third parties.

Participation in the development of small engineering improvement projects, defining technical equipment for Production and/or Industrial Services as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
