Position Summary

As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for accurately reporting key areas of factory costs and a contributing member of Continuous Improvement Teams on-site by analyzing long and short-term cost improvements. You will also play a key role in compliance management for the Allentown factory through internal auditing and development of training tools and documentation.

 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Support and facilitate factory achievement of Safety, Health, Environmental, Quality and Customer Service objectives as delineated in the factory Organizational Master Plan. 
  • Prepare and distribute various reports throughout the period such as Production (cases), Capital Spending, and others to communicate progress. 
  • Provide continuous monitoring of Allentown Energy Usage and Pricing to determine where opportunities exist. 
  • Utilize Labor/Variable Manufacturing Expense reporting and analysis. 
  • Contract Management: partner with Engineering, Maintenance and Finance Senior Coordinator to ensure all Compliance elements are met and continually understood. 
  • Manage the overall SAP Depreciation and Fixed Assets Disposal annual budget process. 
  • Work with the maintenance team on Maintenance Cost Management and TPM activities.

 

 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business equivalent required. 
  • 2+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment preferred. Other 
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems in a manufacturing or production environment, SAP preferred.
