Position Summary


Just 65 miles from Center City Philadelphia, Allentown is near many major Northeastern U.S. cities, which makes it an ideal location for manufacturing and distributing consumer goods. We utilize thermal processing and high-speed canning to produce varieties of our Friskies®, Beneful® and Pro Plan® brands—product lines that we have carefully produced, packaged, and shipped since 1958. Together, we contribute to Allentown's identity as a busy industrial city, as well as a beautiful rural environment that we are truly proud to call home. That’s why we not only make high quality food for pets, but our factory is doing our part to care for the environment we share, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity, and maintaining zero waste for disposal. 

 

As the Accounting Coordinator (Company Store Coordinator), you’ll oversee our on-site company store at the plant and manage many of its related functions including ordering products, receiving shipments, stocking inventory, and tracking inventory levels.   • Manage day-to-day operations of the company store including sales, stocking, and inventory.
  • Order, inventory, and receive goods as required (both systematically and physically).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for retail food establishments’ including general housekeeping responsibilities.
  • Administer initiatives through the company store while adhering to company policy.
  • Create and monitor schedule for employees at the company store.
  • Provide general support to finance department personnel on various tasks as requested.

 

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1+ years' experience in retail or customer service with a focus in inventory, purchasing and/or ordering.

 

Other

  • General accounting experience preferred.

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $39,000 to $55,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
