As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will manage, lead, and coordinate activities of your team to maximize performance, minimize costs, maintain quality, and endorse safety and operating standards. You will also be responsible for coaching, training and developing your team members all while maintaining daily maintenance projects, preventative maintenance, and repair work. You will also be leading your team to achieve continuous improvement and/ or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
- Coordinate installation and maintenance of equipment in the most efficient manner.
- Schedule maintenance projects in collaboration with production and engineering departments.
- Ensure that all members of the maintenance department are properly trained in safety procedures and Total Quality Maintenance.
- Provide guidance and coaching, employee scheduling, evaluation and development for team members.
- Confer with Management on establishing and receiving quality assurance standards.
- Recommend strategies for efficient operation of maintenance department, including implementation of projects and budget modifications.
- Maintain Facility subsystems including Waste Treatment, Boilers, and Electrical Substations / High Voltage Power as well as Utility Systems such as: Plant Water Supply, Air Compressors, Ammonia Refrigeration and Glycol Operating Systems, Fire Suppression Systems, HVAC, etc.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ years of people leadership experience
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, military or related environment
The approximate pay range for this position is $72,000 to $106,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
