Job Title: Associate Manager, Trade Asset  

 

Position Summary:

The Trade Asset Technical Specialist ensures the launch, operation, and maintenance of trade assets while optimizing costs and service efficiency. Responsibilities include selecting market-specific machine configurations, developing settings and documentation, and providing technical training to internal teams and third parties. The role supports sales through cupping sessions, trade fairs, and test installations, while maintaining the technical functionality of showrooms and overseeing warehouses, call centers, and service networks. It also manages trade asset-related expenses (TARE) and develops spare parts management protocols to ensure availability and cost control. Additionally, the specialist documents and escalates technical issues and warranty claims, ensures follow-ups, and contributes to local technology projects, such as payment system integration, while providing feedback on machine performance and improvement areas to the Regional Team or Systems TCU

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

  • Creation and testing of required settings for Trade Assets (including documentation)
  • Creation of all machine field management protocols such as installation, preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Roll out project launches for new solutions, technical related, together with the beverage manager, including new technical components when applicable. (payment systems, telemetry, …)
  • Roll out of software upgrades and parts / retro fit kits into machine park. Define the spare parts stock levels according to the customer needed and technical requirements. Support for Commercial Team (readiness of test machine pool), technical training and call center support.
  • Ensure adherence to the Best Practices and Preferred Model List, monitor Issue Management and Quality.
  • Support and maintain all Risk Assessments and SOP involved with machines in the market, with the cooperation of the TAO Manager
  • Tracking and reporting preventive maintenance cycle audits, ensuring visibility on unvisited machines, and collaborating with key stakeholders in each country to implement a monitored and actionable plan for follow-up and resolution
  • Managing the consolidation, tracking, reporting, and updating of the operational TARE budget, ensuring accurate oversight of POs and GRs executed by each country

 

ARE YOU A FIT?

  • 3 to 5 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)
  • Strong experience in Beverage Systems technical operations and technical know-how about technical equipment, better if coffee oriented (machines, grinders, liquid milk, payment systems, etc.
  • Full proficiency in English language skills.
  • Strong Communication and experience in providing training
  • Strong Presentation skills.
  • Excellent knowledge with Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Excel is a must.
