POSITION SUMMARY

Drive the F&C Mission in the Operating Company (OPC): Co-pilot the OPC by providing leadership to the business decision-making, Ensure Rock Solid Accounting & reporting, while ensuring the highest standards for stewardship and governance throughout the company and developing skilled professional.

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

 

  • Provide monthly visibility on financial performance to leadership team to enable informed decision-making: support Operations, Businesses and Costing teams of the MENA regional office in understanding variances and providing recommendations for the YTG (MOGE, COD, COGS, PFME, PRO, other P&L lines items)
  • Responsible for accurate, transparent, consistent, and timely Financial Accounting records (PEC) and reporting submissions (statutory and Magnitude), in full compliance with NAS and other corporate and local legal standards.
  • Drive Compliance in the OPC relating to local legal, tax and Audit requirements while ensuring that effective internal controls are established, maintained, and monitored throughout the company, and understood by all stakeholders.
  • Drives and monitors the credit reviews for new and existing customers, the determination of their credit limits and their assignment to risk categories. Accountable for release/reject of sales orders due to credit issues.
  • Ensures regular and effective reporting of the Key Performance (KPIs/PPIs/Health Checks) and Credit Management and Collection activities to minimize risk and proactively identify problem areas using analytical tools. Oversee KPIs and PPIs involved in Credit Management and Collections processes.
  • Manages the relationship with Center of Scale (COS) by driving Total Service Quality Monthly review actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives are implemented with Center of Scale across R2R services to drive tangible benefits to the business, leveraging NCE methodologies, while addressing market needs and standardization.
  • Drive cost optimization and reduction in areas of TTS, MOGE, COD
  • Development of Finance and non-Finance capabilities within the country.
  • Optimize structural set-up, identify new business models and opportunities, and provide different analysis providing an objective viewpoint and holistic perspective to the decision-making processes.
  • Drive process improvement to ensure simplicity and efficiency together with IS IT / Business Improvement; keeping all work processes and systems up-to-date in the market, driving in all we do to support value creation.

 

What will make you successful…

 

  • CPA/University master’s degree in business administration, Finance or Accounting
  • Prior management experience (e.g.: Financial Controlling, Functional Controlling, Audit)
  • Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience
  • International experience and mobility is an advantage
  • Proficiency in English and language of the market
