Mechanic Utilities
Seeking a motivated multi-skilled individual to join our team. Responsible for conducting a variety of utilities operations and maintenance activities following the maintenance work process to optimize utility equipment operations, provide ongoing preventive maintenance and improvement support to a pre-determined maintenance plan, while ensuring the continuous supply of quality services needed to produce RTD Beverage products.

What you’ll accomplish:
- Operates, monitors, and maintains all utilities and operational support systems
- Plans and completes all preventative and corrective maintenance on: Boiler water treatments, Boiler steam, condensate, and ammonia refrigeration systems
- Maintain low- and high-pressure air compression, RO, and silo tank offload systems
- Monitor cooling tower water treatment and repairs, and control chemical treatment of pH neutralization system
- Coordinates fire protection systems, maintenance and treatment of cooling towers, and administration of energy management systems
Requirements:
- High school Diploma or GED required
- 2-year technical degree in HVAC systems, applied science or equivalent preferred
- At least one year experience in utilities operations (boilers, compressed air, ammonia refrigeration); food industry experience preferred
- Must pass a medical evaluation and pulmonary function test for use of respirator
You’re a good fit if you:
- Have certifications as a licensed boiler operator, licensed waster water operator or ammonia refrigeration technician
- Have strong mechanical and electrical skills
- Familiar with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and utilities monitoring systems
- Able to work with computers (navigating systems, recording information, and using to find information to perform the job)
- Detail oriented, able to work on a team and independently, willing to operate and support positive Nestle culture and established values
