Production Operator

 

Seeking a motivated Production Operator to join our team. Responsible for operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting equipment in receiving, production, packaging, and distribution areas of the factory.

 

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:

  • 12-Hour day shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM; rotational schedule.
  • 12-Hour night shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM; rotational schedule.
  • Starting hourly pay range of $20.34, plus shift differential for night shift.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Operates, sanitizes, disassembles, and assembles production equipment.  
  • Loading, unloading, and processing ingredients as prescribed by the Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Prepares equipment including set ups, tear downs, and changeovers.
  • Communicates with Supervisors and other Operators on quality and production of material.
  • Conducts quality inspections on product and packaging samples.
  • Performs or assists Maintenance with minor repairs or adjustments to machinery and equipment.
  • Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
  • Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma/GED, preferred.
  • 2-years work experience or post-secondary education, preferred.

 

SKILLS:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Detail oriented individual who accurately records information
  • Ability to work off-shifts, weekends, and extended shifts.
  • Ability to use computers to navigate systems, record data, and locate information.
  • Ability to stack and unstack products as needed, lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work in a team environment where honest communication, a positive attitude, engagement, and personal accountability is expected.
