In this role your primary responsibility is to guarantee employee well-being, product excellence, and asset efficiency while meeting production deadlines. Leading a team of around 40 workers, your duties encompass recruitment, onboarding, performance oversight, and addressing production issues. Your collaboration with on-site and brand teams ensures organizational alignment, fostering a motivating workplace culture and driving achievement through measurable performance metrics.
WORK SCHEDULE:
This position will require working on a 2-2-3, 12 hour night shift schedule. The night shift occurs from 6pm-6am. The schedule pattern is summarized below:

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:
-
Implement timely People development plan, ensuring team proficiency and exceeding job requirements
-
Maintain a secure work environment, meeting quality goals and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
-
Mentor employees for job success and surpassing expectations
-
Enforce quality controls, immediate corrective actions, and compliance with regulations
-
Manage employee relations, skill distribution, new product launches, and effective maintenance to optimize operations
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Bachelor’s degree preferred AND 2 years of leadership experience
-
OR 5 years of supervisory / management experience
-
Willing to work in a factory where ambient conditions may be very cold, wet or warm
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
-
Background in food processing, packaging, or manufacturing industries
-
Proficient in Quality and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) within food processing
-
Continuous Improvement, preferably Lean manufacturing or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) setting
