As the Senior Production Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Production Department and report directly to the Assistant Factory Manager ( AFM). You’ll enhance organizational efficiency by actively assisting Production Supervisors, Production Managers, and the AFM. You’ll also provide support to other departments—including Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse—as needed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete daily UKG ( time keeping system), Indeavor and timekeeping reconciliation as requested by the Production Managers and AFM ( Assistant Factory Manager).
 - Maintain the work schedule of Production Supervisors, including the PTO calendar.
 - Maintain weekly staffing schedules for production and maintenance personnel
 - Own the call-off process and communicate/partner with HR on actions as needed
 
- Provide visibility and accountability to attendance and worked time (HOW violations, missed breaks, excessive OT, other trends)
 
- Assist Production Supervisors with coordinating daily operational review meetings and attend Local Committee Meetings.
 - Assist Production Department with production work orders/notifications.
 - Assist with employee communication activities, including bulletin board postings.
 - Support Production Department with administrative tasks involving GLOBE.
 - Help Production Supervisors with operator overtime coverage, attendance records, training and development documentation, and maintaining the Qualified List.
 - Assist with town hall meetings, departmental meetings, and catering arrangements as needed.
 - Act as the Document Control Coordinator for the Production Department as well as conduct assigned production health checks for compliance i.e. CL ( center line) & CIL ( Clean Inspect Lubrication), Globe
 - Assist Production Managers and AFM with MOC administration tasks (Management of Change) as needed
 - Participate in company environmental continuous improvement initiatives by seeking out and employing increased resource efficiency opportunities; promoting and participating in waste conservation/management efforts (pollution prevention and recycling).
 - Perform other duties as assigned.
 
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
- High School Diploma. (BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Business, or Information Technology-related field preferred.)
 - Knowledge of telephone, computer systems, and production/operational systems.
 - Knowledge of excel
 - Basic understanding of food manufacturing operations and processes.
 
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience working in a manufacturing setting, performing clerical and reporting duties.
 - Strong working knowledge of computer productivity software.
 
SKILLS:
- Communication skills (strong verbal and written required).
 - Interpersonal skills (ability to effectively work with all levels from hourly to management).
 - Project management/organizational skills.
 - Time management skills.
 - Computer skills.
