As a Senior Production Manager, you’ll lead multiple shifts to ensure timely execution of the production plan in a non-union environment. You’ll be accountable for maintaining safety, quality, hygiene, cost control, and environmental compliance. Your leadership will inspire teams, drive continuous improvement, and foster a culture of empowerment and accountability. You’ll communicate the vision clearly to align your team and motivate them toward shared goals. You’ll also develop supervisors and team leads, recognizing their potential and supporting their growth. Collaboration with cross-functional partners—especially maintenance—will be key to success. You’ll handle escalations from hourly associates and lead by example to build a high-performing, engaged workplace. Most importantly, you’ll set ambitious goals and take initiative to exceed them.


KEY OUTPUTS / DELIVERABLES  

  • Delivery of all scheduled production, on time, within cost, and at quality level.
  • Lead role in developing the budget, capital plan, and execution of productivity improvements in their area.
  • Key role in leadership team to ensure delivery of plant objectives through metric delivery and reporting.

 
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Business Management, Food Science, or Organizational Leadership/ Supervision) required.
  • Work extended days and/or weekends with flexibility or switch shifts as needed.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum five (5) years food industry production, purchasing and/or packaging experience with progressive responsibility leading people.  
  • Experience in different manufacturing environments.  
  • Success leading projects in different departments and functions.  
  • Exposure to implementing continuous improvement, employee engagement, and change management.   

 

SKILLS:

  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving skills, and strong interpersonal communication skills are required.  
  • High engagement and excellent follow up skills.
  • Creative problem solving, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Great people skills, maintaining a positive attitude, and the ability to motivate people are needed.
