We are seeking a self-driven and proactive Data Analyst who excels in managing processes from start to finish, leveraging technology to optimize systems and processes. This individual will be a key player in our team, interacting and influencing cross-functionally and upwards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to manage data accurately and effectively. They will serve as the liaison between IT and the business and must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Additionally, the successful candidate will have a passion for continuous learning and development, particularly in automation, to drive efficiency and innovation within the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with key stakeholders in Sales, Finance, and IT to gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications to define successful analytics outcomes, keeping in mind non-functional requirements such as performance constraints, cost constraints, and security policies. Lead the planning and execution phases, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to meet business objectives.
  • Technical Expertise: Support the development and implementation of system enhancements, upgrades, and special projects. Work closely with third-party providers, developers, and IT teams to teams to align with change management processes and to ensure performance, processes and access is optimal for our reporting and activation solutions.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Improve processes regarding data flow and quality to improve data accuracy, viability and value. Write data unit tests to examine small chunks of data transformations for quality and correspondence to the set tasks.
  • Data Enablement and Execution: Design, develop, and implement data structures for business reporting and visualization. Support integration tools and Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) to ensure a modern, high-performing, and reliable cloud data warehouse. Provide daily support for the data warehouse and data marts.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytical tools such as Python\Power BI to identify patterns and insights within user data, driving continuous improvements in business processes.
  • Product Advocacy: Act as the product expert, managing the product backlog, prioritizing user requirements, and fostering innovation that aligns with business goals.
  • Solution Analysis: Define technical requirements and user stories, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of business operations and goals.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Engage with cross-functional teams to evaluate business and user needs, providing strategic advice on technology solutions, and contributing to the IT roadmap to support business objectives.
  • Systems Analysis: Champion continuous improvement by identifying process enhancement opportunities, documenting workflows, and establishing best practices within the organization.
  • Project Management: Manage a variety of projects and requests, ensuring they align with business priorities and are delivered on time.
  • Data Management: Facilitate the development and maintenance of a comprehensive data catalog, documenting key data sources, lineage, and metadata to improve data accessibility and understanding.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical systems analysis or a similar role in a related functional area.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, Tableau, PowerBI, and Python.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
