Lead, Demand Planning – Nutrition, Nestle Culinary Kitchen and Nestle Premium Waters

As a senior-level Demand Planner, you will:

  • Build and maintain a 24-month rolling item-level forecast by shipping DC for a high-revenue product portfolio.
  • Lead monthly Demand Reviews and demand forums, presenting key business drivers and forecast variances to cross-functional leadership.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the Demand Planning Manager, collaborating on scenario planning, root cause analysis, and identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Analyze product and customer performance to inform item-specific forecast assumptions.
  • Use syndicated data to assess trends in consumption, distribution, and incremental mix.
  • Balance forecast accuracy, customer service, and inventory liability to achieve best-in-class results.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively across all levels, preparing insights on forecast performance and future expectations.
  • Develop and recommend actions to optimize forecast accuracy and business performance.
  • Understand customer-specific inventory strategies and collaborate with customer-facing supply chain teams to ensure accurate order/shipment forecasts.
  • Own system setup accuracy for assigned items and distribution centers.
  • Drive consistency and continuous improvement in demand planning processes.
  • Take on leadership development responsibilities such as onboarding, systems training, and mentoring team members.
  • Act as the first point of contact for demand-related communication and issue resolution.

What You Bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning, or Supply Chain Operations.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and stakeholder influence skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, empowered team environment.

The approximate pay range for this position is $119,000- $140,000 base salary. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location. Nestle offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k with company match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.  Incentives and/or benefits packages may vary depending on the position.
