Reporting into the Digital & Social Intelligence Manager within the Commercial Excellence organization, the Digital & Social Intelligence Senior Analyst will be a crucial addition to a team whose mission is to implement an adaptive, industry-leading Social Intelligence capability into Nestle USA that is considered a trusted source of actionable, real-time insight into consumer perception & culture. The Social Intelligence capability has been built to support stakeholders across Brand Marketing, Consumer & Marketplace Insights, Social Strategy & Community, Foresight, Innovation, Category Strategy, Corporate Communication and other teams; ultimately, our goal is to fully embed the capability throughout Nestle USA and empower stakeholders across every department to act upon real-time social media insights.
Additionally, the Senior Analyst will be a crucial member of the emerging cross-functional capability of AI Readiness by supporting LLM Listening & Visibility analysis, including tool implementation & governance, stakeholder support and incorporation into Social Intelligence analysis deliverables.
After supporting the final stages of the Social Intelligence capability’s implementation across Nestle USA, and the incorporation of LLM Listening into our processes, the Digital & Social Intelligence Senior Analyst’s role will focus on robust stakeholder relationship building with teams across the organization, working hand-in-hand with stakeholders to provide consistent, timely & actionable insights for our brands, while forging a continuous stakeholder feedback loop on our offerings. The insights the Analyst will deliver will originate from both cadenced and ad-hoc research requests, while the feedback the Senior Analyst gathers will inform how we optimize & evolve the Digital & Social Intelligence capability over time using ever-evolving AI-driven technology.
The Senior Analyst will be expected to balance supporting stakeholders by fulfilling research requests using our best-in-class technology stack, while also training the stakeholders to be able to leverage the technology to find insights on their own. This balance will allow the Senior Analyst, along with the rest of the Digital & Social Intelligence team, to focus our efforts on the most important in-depth analysis the organization needs, while empowering our stakeholders to conduct their own light monitoring of day-to-day digital & social insights questions. The role will work in collaboration with other stakeholders within the Center of Demand Generation, including but not limited to Foresight, Consumer Insights, Digital Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Digital Shelf & eCommerce, Shopper Insights and Innovation, to provide capabilities and services that consistently identify, generate & distribute actionable & timely insights to Nestle USA’s 25+ Brand Marketing teams.
The Senior Analyst will be expected to work with our stakeholder teams to understand Nestle USA’s business objectives and brand strategies across a wide variety of product categories such as coffee, coffee creamer, chocolate & desserts, frozen meals, pizza, snacking, baking ingredients, noodles and sauces. Day-to-day activities vary given the nature of our business, but the Senior Analyst can expect to balance answering business questions through in-depth analysis using multiple technologies, collaborating with stakeholders in key meetings, developing and executing self-service training programs, identifying & helping implement new technology features, working with vendors and attending leadership presentations.
