We are seeking a Director of Digital Strategy to join our team. The Director will be responsible for developing and aligning a comprehensive enterprise digital transformation strategy across the organization to meet business objectives. This position involves creating the enterprise digital strategy and ensuring it aligns with the company's overall business goals. The Director will distinguish between strategy development and its integration into business priorities, while overseeing the execution of the digital strategy with core teams.
- Strategic Liaison: Act as the primary liaison to the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, providing insights on digital strategy initiatives and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Function as an advisor and ‘sentinel’, monitoring internal and external developments to inform strategic decisions and influence the direction of digital initiatives.
- Digital Transformation: Support the IT & Digital organization in leading digital transformation projects, including the adoption of reimagined workflows through GenAI, automation, digital tools, and platforms to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other senior leaders, including marketing, sales, IT, and operations, to ensure alignment and integration of digital initiatives across the organization while fostering collaboration to enhance capabilities within core teams.
- Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making, measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives, and identify opportunities for improvement. Monitor performance and facilitate the adoption of data-driven plans.
- Innovation: Shape Nestlé’s point of view on disruptive technologies, such as AI agents, digital twins, and autonomous workflows to keep the company at the forefront of digital advancements. Act as an incubator for new digital growth models and capabilities, ensuring their readiness for enterprise scale-up.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with the digital strategy team to ensure all activities are aligned with overall business strategy and proactively manage the portfolio of digital initiatives, driving the transformation agenda to champion Nestlé USA initiatives and ensure end-to-end project execution.
- Long-Term Strategy Partner: Assist in architecting long-term digital strategies and ensure their translation into actionable plans. Support the development of division/functional level planning and coordinate processes to monitor performance against strategic objectives – infused with digital elements.
- Strategic Planning: The Digital Strategy Director will support translating the business strategy and identifying the key digital enablers / initiatives that will be required to support NUSA in winning in the marketplace. Help articulate a future-ready narrative for C-suite and board-level alignment.
- Business Benefit Analysis: The Digital Strategy Director will be asked to lead in identifying and gaining sign-off on project benefits from all digital projects, which will be required to have a direct P&L Benefit to NUSA. They will also support in tracking these benefits throughout the life of all initiatives, with the support of Finance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or digital transformation roles
- 5+ years of experience in a senior strategy role driving digital solutions cross functionally
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, and customer experience management.
- Experience implementing and driving at least one or more end to end digital strategies or roadmap that aligns multiple business and technical functions
