Job Summary:

This individual is accountable for developing the Program Management strategy and execution for our Business Transformation Office (BTO) led programs.  Programs include Cross-OpCo and Cross-Functional Transformational Programs as well as M&A Integrations.   This person’s team will be responsible for developing and implementing Project Management strategies and plans to mobilize and engage stakeholders for Enterprise-wide initiatives across NUSA and Nestle in Zone North America.  This role will develop Program Strategies by initiative, to accelerate Transformation.  This role will oversee team execution in accordance with project plans, tools, and methods, including stakeholder alignment, status, escalations, and governance.  This role will oversee a team of Program Managers and be responsible for allocating resources to each BTO led initiative.  This role is based in Arlington, Virginia and will require working a hybrid schedule of in office and work from home. Relocation Assistance to the Arlington area is available.

 

This role works closely with the BTO Value Capture Office, M&A Transition Service Management, Change Management, and key Sr Leaders (C-Suite to Directors) to mitigate risks and ensure readiness for the successful deployment of programs by: 

 

•    Establish and implement leading strategies to drive best in class communications and oversee execution across the organization
•    Engage with Senior Business Leaders (including C-Suite) to define individual initiatives to deliver corporate strategies and business benefit
•    Accountable for delivering multiple enterprise - wide initiatives, in a high paced environment
•    Influence and collaborate with cross functional teams and/or Operating Companies, to ensure solutions are fully integrated
•    Drive Stakeholder Engagement across large scale, complex programs at all levels of Leadership within the Organization
•    Strong partnership with OpCO and Functional PMO to drive consistency and best practices to deliver more, faster (Program Managment Collective)  Change Management Team to develop holistic Change Management Approaches

 

Job Responsibilities:

1.    Determine Integration Strategy- Drive intake process for Programs (Cross-Opco / Cross-Functional Programs and M&A Integrations) in close collaboration with BTO Leadership.  Develop strategies for the business on the integration and future operating model.

2.    Create Playbook- Develop Program playbook for Cross-Opco / Cross-Functional Transformation Programs and M&A Integrations. Playbooks are to include a framework for different types of Transformations, Governance and Project team structures.  Beyond the creation of each playbook a mechanism to continue to evolve framework and capture learnings from each project.

3.    Execute Playbook- Coordinate and lead the execution strategy with the larger cross-functional business integration team including IT, Finance, HR, Marketing, Sales, etc.  Manage communications to senior stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout M&A / integration process.

4.    Integration Leadership- Provide direct leadership and coaching to direct reports, the broader project team and OpCO and functional PMOs in the delivering of transformation activities within Zone North America

5.    Project Management- Ensure project management resources are delivering clear assignments, common formats for outputs, disciplined timelines, coordinated meeting schedules, communication mechanisms and review processes.  Engage with project PMO and provide guidance to external consultants on necessary activities for execution support.


Position Requirements:

•   Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required.  Master’s Degree preferred
•   Project Management Certification preferred (e.g. PMP)
•   Travel required – 25%

•    Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience, varying roles, process/IT/M&A initiatives
•    Experience with SAP or other technical rollouts
•    Stakeholder management or large-scale transition projects
•    Mid-size to large organizational change/transitions
•    Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across all levels and functional teams.  Ability to find a common solution despite competing priorities both internally and externally.
•    Builds high credibility and instills a sense of trust in all interactions
•    Highly influential and capable of providing creative solutions to complex problems
•    Ability to operate under high degrees of ambiguity
•    Understand the needs of the business(es) and function(s) to propose the optimal solutions for multiple parties
•    Excellent stakeholder management
•    Strong agility demonstrating the ability to adapt and recalibrate plans as the situation calls
•    Adept at dealing with the emotional and cultural intricacies of acquisitions and divestitures

•    You will need to reside in or relocate to the Arlington, Virginia area to work a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office per week
