The consumer/shopper journey from awareness to conversion is experiencing unprecedented change. From eCommerce shopping platforms (grocery pick-up and delivery) to significant advancements in the distributor channel.  Winning in this environment requires new capabilities in Consumer Marketing, eCommerce/Omni-Commerce, Technology and Media.

 

The eCommerce Strategy Specialist leads the project planning, development and execution of Division and Brand eCommerce Channel Marketing and Retail Marketing along iconic brands such as Stouffers and Lean Cuisine. This role will be responsible for support and execution of Distributor channel activations. The role will be responsible for business analysis with strong financial rigor in support of growth opportunities. Working in close partnership with OMNI Retail Marketing, Digital Shelf & Sales teams, this position will flawlessly execute the strategies to win in the marketplace.  The position is located in the Arlington, VA office and requires 3 days per week in the office.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Measures of Success: Improving + advocating eB2B platform efficiencies, Enhancing Brand eCommerce presence, On-time execution, Communication planning, Achievement of Sales performance targets, and improving distributor satisfaction scores.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Execute plans to drive demand and conversion in the eCommerce and Omnichannel space for the distributor network – eB2B
  • Distributor business analytic support
    • Data analysis with focus on growth opportunities
    • Project Management
    • Focused Strategy Implementation and SOV tracking
  • Execute Insight-Based Promotional Campaigns and Tool Kits for Retail Marketing with in cross-functional partnership + execution
    • Strong project management implementation
    • Solo Brand and Innovation activations
    • Multi-brand activations
    • Scale event activations
  • Business Analysis and KPI Tracking – Monitor eBusiness and retail marketing sales and KPIs for the Division across key accounts and platforms to ensure Best In Class execution and that we are leveraging all Best Practices to drive ROI
  • Communication Enable stakeholder transparency and strong protocols are in place.
    • Responsible for use + compliance
    • Onboarding new use cases
    • Support of annual, quarterly, monthly planning + reporting
    • Contribute to development of selling materials for Retail Marketing efforts and collaborate with CD on account selling meetings.
  • Become the subject matter expert in two or more data and insights to drive best in class adoption across our Divisions and Business Units, helping upskill the organization
  • Achieving corporate objectives in support of Market Share, Sales Volume Growth, Category Growth, Brand Equity, Brand Health and Marketing ROI. Aligning corporate and customer objectives.
  • Works independently with general supervision received from the eCommerce Strategy Manager and teams.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • 3-5 years general business knowledge in Sales or Marketing, ecommerce experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Knowledge of Nestlé and its trade customer base preferred
  • Strong marketing, sales, communication prowess
  • Deep understanding of micro distributors and their key market strategies + needs
  • Flexibility in ambiguity, comfort navigating complex matrixed organizations
