Finance Manager, Operations

Position Summary

The Finance Manager, Operations will assure that the Gerber Business (NN US) receives timely and accurate reports and insights, allowing the team to improve the financial performance with the area of 'Total Delivered Cost'. 
This will include three key areas:
Planning & Analysis of the Cost of Production of three NN US factories
Forecasting of Cost of Goods Sold, FFOH and Depreciation within the NN US P&L. 
Establishing cost projections for I2L projects and transformed materials

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting & Analytics: Oversee the creation of Factory Operational Budgets.
Review and summarize monthly factory performance. Proactively manage and communicate emerging risks and opportunities in cooperation with factory controllers.
Identify and track cost improvement projects.
Business Planning: Translate acquisition cost of own manufactured, co-manufactured and imported products into accurate Dynamic Forecasts for the NN US business, with focus on Cogs, FFOH and Depreciation.
Identify and communicate Risks & Opportunities.
Project Costing:Coordinates and streamlines costing of I2L projects and transformed materials. Supports Make versus Buy Analysis.
Capital Projects:Supports creation of financial justifications for capital investments in coordination with the business teams. Tracking of implementation and startup cost.
Period End Close: Coordinate calculation and accurate recording of provisions providing explanations for COGS, FFOH and Depreciation results (actuals).

REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS with major or minor in Accounting or Finance
5 - 7 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance, including minimum of 3 years of experience in Cost Accounting or Factory Finance
Strong knowledge of MS Office and SAP preferred
Strong analytical skills
Ability to influence business decisions with fact-based analysis, consolidating complex information into actionable insights and recommendations
Experience presenting to broad audiences at varied levels within the organization
Good organizational and planning skills
