Position Summary: The Financial Analyst Copilot will play a pivotal role in copiloting and controlling the Sales MOGE budget. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide insightful financial analysis, facilitate decision-making processes, and ensure the alignment of financial strategies with organizational goals. The Analyst will act as a trusted partner to the Sales VPs and directors, leveraging data to drive performance improvements and support strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of financial acumen, technical skills, and interpersonal abilities to liaise with the Sales community and effectively communicate insights to stakeholders. A passion for driving financial excellence and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential for success in this role.

 

How You Will Make an Impact: As an Financial Analyst Copilot, you will have the opportunity to influence key financial decisions by providing accurate forecasts, identifying trends, and analyzing variances. Your contributions will help optimize resource allocation, enhance operational efficiency, and support the achievement of the Sales target. By collaborating closely with teams across the organization (Sales, Human resources, RGM, Finance), you will foster a culture of financial accountability and transparency.

 

Areas of Focus:

  • Financial Budget, Planning and Analysis: Assist in the preparation of the Sales MOGE budget, develop and maintain financial trackers, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports, identify key trends, investigate variances, and provide recommendations. Monitor and update financial resources reporting. Ensure the accuracy of the expenses posted and take action to get adjustments as needed throughout the year.
  • Ad-hoc analysis: Provide ad-hoc analysis based on Stakeholder request or related to environmental changes.
  • Business Partnering: Work closely with various Sales departments to understand their financial needs, timeline and understand variances to goals. Provide support in achieving their goals and ensure alignment with the Sales Human Resources department. Facilitate the S2P process execution.
  • Stakeholder management: Lead monthly finance review and alignment meetings with the CCO direct reports.
  • Provide quarterly budget update to corporate finance.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate with non-finance professionals
  • Proficiency in financial data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations
  • Self-starter and quick learner
  • Critical thinking/ Curiosity
  • Ability to work in a changing and fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

EXPERIENCE/ REQUIREMENTS:

  • College degree required; bachelor’s in accounting/finance or equivalent required.
  • 3 years of experience in finance controlling or copiloting preferred.
  • Intermediate/Advanced in Excel and SAP (or other ERP System) required.
