The Manager, Project Management, leads finance transformation initiatives across Nestlé North America. This role applies strategic thinking, a structured transformation framework, and strong business and leadership acumen to manage a portfolio of complex programs. Initiatives include integrations, acquisitions, divestitures, technology implementations, and broader business transformation efforts focused on operational optimization and measurable business value.

 

This role executes the Finance PMO vision with a strong focus on outcomes and organizational value while managing active project deliverables. It leads finance-related projects across multiple functions and businesses, defining project approach, scope, timelines, and budgets. Operating within a matrixed environment, the Manager, Project Management guides cross-functional teams to ensure delivery aligned with business objectives, internal standards, and strategic priorities. The role also serves as the finance project management lead, resolving cross-functional and cross-business issues and enabling effective collaboration.

Responsibilities

 

  • Define and document project vision, objectives, and delivery approach
  • Develop program, project, and phase-level strategies and execution plans
  • Establish project organization, roles, responsibilities, and meeting cadence
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks and mitigation plans
  • Facilitate business case development and approval through portfolio governance
  • Monitor execution and provide ongoing status reporting, analysis, and issue management
  • Manage escalations through established governance forums
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure scope, plans, and change controls are followed
  • Provide leadership and guidance on project management, integration, and prioritization practices
  • Support change management planning and communication to enable successful adoption

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field required; master’s degree preferred
  • Five or more years of professional experience, including at least three years in project management across process, IT, or M&A initiatives
  • Experience leading SAP or other technology implementations
  • Project management certification preferred (e.g., PMP)
  • Change management certification preferred (e.g., Prosci, HCI)
  • Experience with stakeholder management and large-scale organizational
