Make an impact as a Tax Manager by helping the organization navigate an evolving and complex tax landscape. In this role, you will safeguard compliance, proactively manage financial and regulatory risk, and uncover opportunities to optimize tax efficiency. Your expertise and strategic insight will directly support key business decisions and long-term growth.
Responsibilities
Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Lead and oversee all direct tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing, and tax reporting activities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and international tax regulations.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation, review, and filing of tax returns and related reporting requirements.
- Monitor tax positions and cash tax obligations to optimize tax outcomes while maintaining compliance.
Tax Audits & Risk Management
- Manage tax audits, examinations, and litigation matters, coordinating responses with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate tax risks to minimize penalties, financial exposure, and reputational risk.
- Maintain strong tax governance and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Business Partnership & Advisory
- Provide strategic tax advice and guidance on business transactions, acquisitions, projects, restructurings, and other business initiatives.
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Accounting, Audit, and Commercial teams to ensure tax considerations are appropriately addressed in decision-making.
- Proactively identify tax planning opportunities that support business objectives while adhering to company governance standards.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact with tax authorities, external auditors, tax advisors, and relevant business organizations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
- Partner with business leaders to increase awareness of tax risks, obligations, and opportunities.
Tax Strategy & Regulatory Monitoring
- Stay informed on changes to tax laws, regulations, and jurisprudence, proactively assessing business impacts and recommending actions.
- Support the implementation of tax strategies that drive efficiency while maintaining compliance and governance standards.
- Coordinate with external providers and business functions to ensure accurate reporting and ongoing compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field required.
- CPA certification preferred.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in tax management preferably within a multinational organization or public accounting/tax consulting environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing tax compliance, tax reporting, audits, and complex tax issues.
- Experience working with federal, state, and international tax regulations.
- Proven ability to manage external tax advisors, auditors, and government authorities.
- Experience leading projects and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of tax compliance, tax reporting, transfer pricing, and tax risk management.
- Knowledge of domestic and international tax structures and regulatory environments.
- Understanding of business operations, governance frameworks, and financial reporting requirements.
- Ability to interpret evolving tax legislation and assess implications for business operations.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align tax strategies with organizational objectives.

Salary: $136,002.11 to $188,179.10 per year

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
