The Manager, Digital Marketing Strategy at Nestlé USA HQ holds a pivotal position within the Center of Marketing Excellence at Nestlé USA HQ (NUSA). This role is instrumental in driving Nestlé's journey towards achieving world-class digital marketing capabilities.
This role will oversee our Nestlé USA websites strategies, including UX design, SEO, CMS, data collection, acquisition and enrichment, and other maintenance tools. Additionally, the role involves leading the development of new website features, Martech integrations, and staying ahead of digital trends to support Nestlé USA’s overarching digital marketing and brands strategy.
The Digital Marketing Strategy Manager’s focus will be on integrating the consumer journey into the web and optimizing KPIs to achieve business goals. Additionally, will support data capture standardization across all consumer-facing properties, and enhance website performance, user experience, and conversion rates through data-driven insights and a collaborative, agile approach in developing user-centered web solutions that effectively engage our target audience.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Data and Consumer Engagement, the Manager will serve as an individual contributor and play a vital role in collaborating closely with multiple teams and stakeholders. This includes Marketing, Analytics, Business Continuity, Security Compliance, global and domestic IT, Data, Legal teams, as well as various agencies and vendors.
What You'll Do:
Website Optimization and Enhancement:
- Deploy web site user experience enhancements aligned with enterprise-wide goals and brand digital priorities, while monitoring website traffic (from anonymous to known users), user behavior, and KPIs to evaluate effectiveness and uncover opportunities for optimization, personalization, and conversion improvements.
- Lead the IT agency to manage the Web Delivery, UX/UI, and Web Development teams, including external partners and internal cross-functional teams, to enhance website navigation, content structure, and visual design for an improved user experience.
- Conduct regular performance audits to identify areas for improvement in speed, usability, and SEO.
- Implement A/B testing and other Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) strategies to boost website conversion rates and consumer engagement.
- Oversee the process for publishing website content with brand teams and agency partners, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and SEO best practices.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and implement emerging technologies, especially AI evolution to find new growth and innovation opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Project Management:
- Lead the development of website strategy roadmaps and oversee the execution of digital marketing initiatives, including planning and managing website enhancement projects such as new features, redesigns, and content updates.
- Collaborate with other project managers to establish realistic timelines, manage dependencies, and ensure feasible market activation schedules. Partner with cross-functional teams such as brands, digital shelf, field marketing, IT and others to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
- Oversee and create the Internal Playbooks, website budget and ensure project implementation adheres to timelines and deadlines.
Technical Coordination:
- Assess and prioritize improvements to the technical infrastructure.
- Oversee the maintenance and updates of the website platform (e.g., CMS, e-commerce platform) to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with agency partners and IT to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, while managing system integrations (e.g., CRM, marketing automation).
- Define and articulate data requirements with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Information Systems or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in digital marketing transformation, including developing website strategies and roadmaps. Expertise in A/B testing and optimization, with skills in web operations, design, front-end and back-end development, UX/UI, web QA, audits, and utilizing tracking, measurement, and testing tools.
- Strong expertise in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design), web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), and SEO concepts.
- Proven ability to build consumer experience journeys aligned with business objectives.
- Proficiency in Customer Data Platforms (CDP), including data modeling, integration, ID stitching, and journey and audience building.
- A strategic thinker with experience working with cross-functional and technical project managers, demonstrating a proven ability to build stakeholder relationships and influence without authority.
- Skilled in supervising agency partners and managing multiple projects.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- Familiarity with MarTech tools and implementation.
- Understanding of B2C digital marketing principles and best practices.
