Nestlé Regional Globe Office North America, Inc. seeks multiple Manager IT Portfolio Management in Arlington VA

 

Duties: Lead and guide the development and execution of the portfolio strategy, driving organizational growth and achieving strategic objectives. Take control of project approval processes, managing the project approval budget and benefits tracking by each project. Identify and assess potential initiatives and projects, ensuring they align with the organization's strategic goals. Enable the organization leadership to make informed decisions on project prioritization, considering factors such as strategic fit, resource availability, and risk. Allocate resources and budget strategically across the portfolio to maximize value and return on investment. Continuously monitor and evaluate project performance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Engage with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, to provide regular updates on portfolio progress and offer support. Proactively identify and address portfolio-level risks and issues, mitigating potential impacts on strategic outcomes. Provide strategic guidance and support to project managers, ensuring their activities align with the overall portfolio strategy. Report on portfolio performance to top management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Telework permitted up to 2 days per week.

 

Requirements:

 

Job requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, IT Management, Information Technology, or related field plus 5 years of experience managing across major IT portfolios, projects, or programs within the manufacturing industry. Required experience must include 5 years of experience in all of the following:

  • Experience in portfolio or program management within the manufacturing industry;
  • Experience in end-to-end processes of portfolio management including strategic planning, value-based project prioritization, business case management, resource capacity management, project oversight, and stakeholder communication;
  • Experience in reporting tools to monitor and analyze portfolio performance;
  • Experience in developing and communicating IT portfolio and sub-portfolio objectives, enforcing continuous improvement, and maintaining alignment on the IT and business strategy;
  • Experience in developing and delivering against financial and temporal constraints;
  • Experience in portfolio delivery metrics including analysis and management of financials, schedule, resources, and benefits realization.

Work Location: 1812 N Moore St, Arlington VA 22209. Telework permitted up to 2 days per week.
