Job Purpose

The Manager Media Planning leads the strategy, execution and day-to-day management of media campaigns across the U.S. and Canada market. This role works closely with agency partners and internal stakeholders to coordinate campaign delivery, monitor budgets and performance, maintain reporting, and ensure successful execution of media plans. The position plays a critical role in managing operational aspects of media planning and helping drive campaign effectiveness through strong coordination, attention to detail, and performance monitoring.

At the global scope, this position provides the transversal support on measurement frameworks and saucerful roll our of the planning  and performance tools.

This position reports to Global Head of Media, Content and Digital Transformation.

Key Outputs & Deliverables

Media Campaign Execution

  • Lead media strategy and media planning on US and Canadian markets
  • Develop and rationalize media plans across digital and traditional channels in partnership with media agency teams.
  • Establish measurement KPIs and performance forecasts with the help of the agency
  • Coordinate campaign setup, launch timelines, creative asset delivery, and trafficking requirements to support on-time execution.
  • Monitor campaign delivery and pacing, ensuring planned media investments are activating as intended.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for agency partners on campaign execution and status updates.
  • Support campaign changes, adjustments, and optimization requests throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • Support post-campaign insights by collecting results, key learnings, and optimization opportunities.

Agency & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate day-to-day interactions between internal marketing teams and agency partners.
  • Support planning meetings, status calls, and campaign reviews by preparing materials and tracking action items.
  • Communicate campaign updates, timelines, and performance results to stakeholders.
  • Escalate risks, delays, or execution issues to leadership when necessary.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with brand, creative, analytics, and finance teams.

Process & Tool Management

  • Lead the preparation of Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) data, partnering with the agency to ensure data quality, consistency, and effective data cleaning processes.
  • Lead the global rollout of the planning tool, driving the development of new features enable more integrated operations while ensuring adoption, governance, and best-practice usage across all markets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 6 years of experience in media planning, media buying, campaign management, or advertising.
  • Understanding of US and Canadian media landscapes, trends and audience diversity
  • Strong media agency experience, with proven expertise in managing multi-channel campaign execution. Experience on the advertiser side would be considered a strong advantage.
  • Advanced expert of digital media strategies, media measurement and data management
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to articulate the campaign results and optimization
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and execution capabilities.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience in beauty, beverage, automotive, or other premium consumer industries is preferred.

 

Salary: $105,000.00 to $170,000.00 per year

 

Bonus Eligibility: Yes


The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
