The Manager of Medical Nutrition Communications will leverage their medical affairs and nutrition background to lead Gerber’s healthcare engagement strategy and provide key stakeholders with the latest information about nutrition, health and feeding for young children. This role will build upon Gerber’s legacy as healthcare providers’ trusted partner in early childhood nutrition. The role will manage the Gerber Medical Hub, develop best-in-class science-based education materials for healthcare providers and patients, and represent Gerber to the healthcare community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pediatric nutrition and the role of nutrition in giving babies the best start in life in addition to a track record of success in medical marketing activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and execute engagement touchpoints and communications to healthcare providers
- Lead and manage the Gerber Medical Hub and award-winning Baby Matters digital education program (https://medical.gerber.com/)
- Establish KPIs for all healthcare engagements to measure success and drive continuous improvements and enhancements to the strategy
- Partner across our global Nestle Nutrition medical network to drive innovation and apply best practices in medical engagement
- Represent Gerber Nutrition externally with academia, healthcare professionals and other professional groups involved in infant and toddler nutrition and health.
Requirements And Minimum Education Level
- Minimum 5 years of medical engagement and/or medical marketing experience and medical writing
- Registered Dietitian (RD, RDN) preferred
- Advanced Degree preferred
- Track record of successful digital medical engagement campaigns
- Experience managing external stakeholders and marketing agencies
- Significant experience and advanced knowledge of pediatric nutrition preferred
- Strong scientific background and good understanding of expert recommendations in early childhood nutrition
- Action and detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external customers.
- Additional pediatric nutrition certificates desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
