The Product Information (PI) Team sits within Nestle USA’s Digital and eCommerce team, and is responsible for managing data in our PIM, DAM, and external connecting platforms to ensure product information efficacy, speed and efficiency for Nestle USA.

 

The Product Information Analyst ensures the accuracy of existing product information; coordinates implementation of new customers and products; ensures product data conforms with industry standards and internal procedures. This role collaborates with Brand and Marketing teams, Sales teams, Master Data teams and external Application Service Providers and Customers to define and refine industry standards and business processes. 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 


1.) Support new and existing Global Data Sync customers: 

  • Drive product information excellence across our people and technology
  • Ensure new data conforms with industry standards and internal procedures 
  • Trouble-shoot, conduct analysis and address errors in new and existing product information 
  • Execute training and support to Account teams on tech systems & processes and new item process 
  • Perform and deliver data analyses to proactively monitor syndicated data quality 
  • Provide QA reporting on completeness and accuracy of product information
  • Contribute to evolution of our ways of working, continual driving for stronger and smarter approaches

2.) Elevate the relationship between the Product Information Team and stakeholders: 

  • Influence stakeholders to understand how product information works and why it’s critical to NUSA success
  • Anticipate customer and stakeholder needs by understanding their deliverables and responsibilities
  • Educate stakeholders to understand processes, ways of working, technology
  • Deliver above average to excellent customer satisfaction 
  • Drive toward new solutions that improve our efficiencies and effectiveness

3.) Deliver projects to support department and organizational initiatives:

  • Deliver day-to-day while balancing timelines Balance timelines with importance of providing quality deliverables 
  • Manage stakeholder expectations 
  • Understand and mitigate risk

 

MINIMUM REQIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Marketing, Packaging, Supply Chain, Master Data, Data Governance, or systems analysis. Strong working knowledge of Consumer Packaged Goods industry and the Global Data Synchronization Network. 
  • Experience working in the following systems and software: Source systems such as, ERP systems (preferably SAP). PIM and DAM systems (preferably Salsify). Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office applications; advanced knowledge and experience with Excel is required. 
  • Required skillset: Excellent communication skills with an ability to address audiences of all levels and varying technical knowledge. Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities while taking full accountability for quality efforts and deliverables. Detail-orientated with a strong analytical and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. Strong customer focus. Strong technical skillset and an ability to trouble-shoot issues as well as identify root cause.
