POSITION SUMMARY:
As part of the Center for Demand Generation, the Senior Analyst, Digital Marketing Analytics will take a lead role in the measurement, reporting, and optimization of marketing communications across Nestle USA’s 30+ brands, including the iconic DiGiorno, Stouffers, Hot Pockets, Coffee mate and more.

 

Serving as consultants to our brands, they will leverage strong data skills and comfort with a variety of analytics tools to develop actionable insights that enhance Nestle’s marketing performance across key marketing channels and develop actionable reporting that informs marketing communications spend and tactic optimization.  Through strong understanding of Nestle’s business, project management, solid communication skills, and an ability to drive change, they will collaborate with brand managers, agency partners, senior management, and other key stakeholders to drive meaningful business impact across Nestle USA.
 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works with Nestle USA’s 30+ brand teams to produce analysis and reporting that enhances marketing communications across paid, social media, website, SEO, CRM/email, and more. Activities include reporting on website performance, overseeing A/B testing and optimization, analyzing priority campaigns for impact, building insightful dashboards, and measuring the sales impact of brand advertising.
  • Leverages data-driven insights and marketing optimizations to evaluate and inform brand communication strategy.  Creates automated, always-on, informative, and visual dashboards to deliver insightful presentations and increase marketing effectiveness by helping to improve engagement across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Elevates NUSA’s understanding of the consumer experience and digital journey by leveraging 1st party, 2nd party, and 3rd party data sources to develop consumer and product insights to be shared with brand teams, media teams (CRM, social, web, etc.) and Consumer Marketplace Insights.
  • Collaborates with internal departments (CRM, web strategy, paid media, social strategy, enterprise analytics) and external agency partners to operationalize data flows and establish the reporting structures needed to produce reporting and optimizations.
  • Manages NUSA’s reporting requests from start to finish by building measurement/reporting frameworks, understanding stakeholder needs, visualizing data layouts, managing cross-functional IT resources, designing reporting outputs, analyzing results, and making recommendations to marketers.

 

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business field (marketing, communications, business administration, economics, etc.) or a technical field (computer science, information systems, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, marketing analytics, business analytics, or IT/data management.  Consulting or agency experience a plus.

 

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • General experience in digital marketing, marketing measurement, and business analytics (e.g. report generation, marketing campaign analysis, web analytics, email performance, social analytics, paid media measurement, etc.).
  • Strong level of comfort working with the reporting platforms, technical analytics tools, and data management systems used to manipulate, transform, and analyze marketing data.
  • Strong comfort and patience with technical data projects, including collaborating with internal/external IT personnel, understanding complex dataflows, coordinating IT resources, and working with large datasets.
  • Experience producing dashboards and other visually compelling reports that identify key recommendations and enable insight into business performance.
  • Experience in the creation of persuasive PowerPoint decks to “tell the data story,” and in the presentation of these decks to senior audiences.
  • Solid communication skills and ability to communicate data-driven findings to mid- and senior-level managers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to network and work successfully with a wide range of stakeholders.

 

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in using Google Analytics (or equivalent) and Google Tag Manager to configure website reporting, evaluate performance and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience with social listening, social intelligence, and/or social analytics a plus.
  • Experience in creating or utilizing data visualization platforms (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, funnel.io, Domo, Data Studio, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of coding languages or developer tools, such as SQL, is an advantage.
  • Experience with advanced analytics, including media mix modeling, multi-touch attribution, statistical analysis, lifetime value analysis, and sales impact studies a plus.
