Position Summary
As the Senior Brand Marketing Associate – Base Business in our Bakery Sweet division you will be responsible to develop the creation of 3-year strategy plans and annual brand plans that grow share and generate demand for our Toll House brand with significant growth aspirations. You will be responsible for brand/business leadership and execution that will partner with diverse multifunctional teams to define category and brand/commercial metric growth plans, innovation and renovation strategies and manage product portfolio based upon consumer, category and competitive data and insights and drive projects from concept to post-launch business analysis and tracking. This is a unique opportunity to play a role in defining the future of food / beverage and pursue a career in brand building and driving demand landscape at Nestle.
Responsibilities:
- Define a 3-year consumer centric strategy and build annual brand/product/commercial plans and portfolio strategies to drive short and long-term category, brand and sales growth including brand equity, awareness and engagement strategy.
- Articulate and Execute Short and Long term, annual Brand/Commercial Plan and everyday business activities such as Forecasting and communicating progress, issues or opportunities to cross functional team to deliver on key business and brand metrics.
- Continuously strengthen brand positioning by understanding and leveraging what the brand stands for in the hearts and minds of consumers including brand identity, essence, vision, mission, and core values to drive relevant innovation/renovation
- Manage simultaneous end-to-end marketing projects by mastering product knowledge and with detailed project timelines tracking and prioritizing brand initiatives to ensure delivery of project milestones on time & on budget, while owning communication to broader organization
- Lead stakeholder by partnering with a high performing cross functional team including Finance, Market Research, Supply, Sales, Product Development, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Packaging Design and Project management to drive brand value and growth.
- Showcase your creativity and curiosity for our consumers by assessing creative territory that brings our brands to life and enables effective consumer communication with a digital and social first approach including recommended activation/implementation plan, stewardship, and brand health measurement.
- Exercise quick decision-making abilities and business savviness around investment alternatives that mitigate risk and maximize return, sparking interest and selling aspects of brand plans to stakeholders, senior executives, and customers.
- Own your development as a Marketer by mastering fundamental elements across innovation, communications, and base assignments (potentially across different brands and divisions).
Requirements and Minimum Education:
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in consumer marketing, brand management or product management
- Completed bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration.
- Strong Base associate experience and must have achieved proven results developing strategic brand / product plans, such as commercialization strategies that break from the category and drive sales across various channels, digital communications, and consumer promotions, etc.
- Project Management experience, with a proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams and external agency partners, with a strong sense of urgency/bias for action.
- Demonstrate understanding of total commercial spend and key P&L drivers; experience managing large consumer marketing budget and media investment decisions
- Process oriented but Adaptability + flexibility to meet changing marketplace dynamics and priorities
