Senior Compensation Analyst
Position Summary:

Reporting to the Sr. Compensation Manager, we are seeking a dedicated and driven individual to lead (and improve!) compensation programs focused on reviewing pay positioning, enhancing pay for performance, and ensuring internal equity. You will create, maintain, and improve tools and content used by our HR business partners and compensation teams.
As a key partner to our customer-facing compensation team, you will collaborate closely to implement enhancements and innovative strategies that align with our business goals and directly impact our HR/compensation must-win battles, improve employee engagement, enrich best practices, and ensure compliance.
Primary Responsibilities:
Annual Equity Review Process
- Manage our annual equity review process that ensures our pay positioning is appropriate for all employees with a focus on our high performers.
- Partner with our HR Compliance team to deliver the annual equity review process in conjunction with their compensation monitoring process, specifically focused on pay disparities relating to gender and ethnicity.
- Develop and execute the communications plan and training for our HR Business Partners.
- Distribute the analysis and collaborate with other compensation partners to complete the process, submit pay adjustments, and create pay statements.
Compensation Maturity Assessment
- Design a process and cadence around a recently developed compensation maturity assessment, a questionnaire utilized to capture HR business partner feedback about compensation.
- Lead through the compensation partners to obtain and compile results from their HR Business Partner teams.
- Review the results to gain insights and areas of improvement for the compensation team and create a compelling case for change.
- Using the results, help prioritize projects and initiatives with compensation leadership and assist program and process owners with getting those improvement projects started.
Annual Living Wage Analysis
- Own the annual living wage process and partnership with the corporate compensation team and vendor, if necessary.
- Complete the analysis using the provided data, identify any pay gaps that may exist, share with the impacted compensation partners, and ensure a mitigation plan is created.
- Compile all the mitigation plans and provide to the corporate compensation team.
Special Projects
- Participate in special projects like pay transparency, developing and improving compensation dashboards, and optimizing our internal compensation communications.
Backup Comp Team Members
- Serve as a contributor and the backup to your comp team members on several other impactful programs and tools:
- Merit Process
- Total Rewards Statement & Candidate Portal
- BetterComp Administration – market pricing technology
- Compensation Resource Center – internal content and information sharing site
- Salary Survey Participation & Administration
- Manage the participation and submission for a few salary surveys
Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration or a related field preferred; Additional related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 3+ years experience in HR preferably in compensation or total rewards or 7+ years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree
- CCP and GRP certifications are desired
Skills and Experience:
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required; Advanced Excel proficiency strongly desired
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and collaboration skills are required
- Good communication (oral and written), organizational, presentation and stakeholder management skills are required
- Ability to draw conclusions from data and develop recommendations is required
- Experience or comfortability working in a large, matrixed organization is required
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is required
- Experience managing large processes in Excel requiring splitting/distributing files and then consolidating inputs is desired
- Experience and/or working knowledge of SuccessFactors, SAP, Microsoft Power BI or BetterComp is desired
