Position Summary
The Senior Finance Analyst – Operations serves as a strategic finance co‑pilot to the Nutrition Co‑Manufacturing (CoMan) team. In this role, you will provide forward‑looking financial insight, planning, and decision support to the CoMan leadership team while partnering closely with Nutrition and Global Culinary Kitchen (GCK) business teams.
This role is highly cross‑functional and works in close collaboration with TAG (Technical Applications Group) and Nutrition Factory Controllers to drive cost transparency, operational efficiency, and informed business decisions across the value chain.
Key Responsibilities
Co‑Manufacturing (CoMan) Finance Support
- Act as the primary finance partner to the Head of the Nutrition Co‑Manufacturing team, delivering timely, accurate, and actionable financial insights
- Plan, analyze, and monitor Cost of Production, identifying risks and opportunities to improve financial performance
- Identify, track, and report on cost improvement initiatives and operational efficiency opportunities
- Support financial evaluations for projects, including Make vs. Buy analyses and investment decision support
PRO (Production Related Overheads)
- Analyze Nutrition PRO and develop summary PRO reporting for each business (Babyfood, Dry Milk, Outshine), supported by detailed schedules and expense category analysis
- Investigate and clearly explain unexpected or abnormal expenses to stakeholders
- Maintain account reconciliations related to inventory provisions
- Update Waste and PRO forecasts for all Nutrition businesses in Oracle as part of the Operational Forecast (OF) process
- Ensure ongoing accuracy and maintenance of business‑specific WBSs (Work Breakdown Structures), cost centers, and allocation rules
Commercial & Cross‑Functional Partnership
- Partner closely with Division Co‑Pilots and FP&A to track Operating Forecasts against targets and explain actuals vs. forecast variances
- Communicate risks and opportunities (R&Os) to highlight trends and enable timely, data‑driven decision‑making throughout the year
- Represent Finance on cross‑functional task forces, including new product launches and other strategic business initiatives
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in finance related roles
- Strong understanding of P&L management and accounting principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
- Proven ability to synthesize complex data from multiple sources into clear, actionable insights
- Strong business partnering skills with the ability to communicate effectively across functions
- Self‑starter mindset with a continuous improvement orientation
- Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems
Preferred
- Experience supporting manufacturing or operations‑focused environments
