Position Summary
As a Sr. Specialist Solution Architect, you will develop complete analytical solutions, mine extensive data sets for insights, build scalable data products, and enable the overall Data Science capability. You may come from a highly specialized background such as natural language processing, machine learning, deep learning, or operations research, using Cortana Suite including Azure, “R” and other tools. You will be supporting the Advanced Analytics business for business functions including sales, trade, customer service, and logistics. You will play a key role between the reporting teams, business areas, and Nestlé technology teams to enhance the advanced analytics experience for users. You will be looked upon to help guide the Business Analytics team and strategy.

Use Azure technologies such as Snowflakes, Data Lake, Data Bricks, SQL DW, Logic Apps, and Power BI to support all business streams and projects

Design, develop, and implement Big Data platforms using Azure Cloud architecture with structured and unstructured data sources

Connect and automate data sources, along with building visualizations

Configure, connect, and set up the infrastructure

Develop, maintain, and test existing solutions

Utilize your strong knowledge of enterprise data warehouse design, development, and administration to build out analytic processes (OLAP/OLTP) in SQL Server Data Warehouse

Design, develop, and deploy ETL and ELT solutions which will help the analytics team scale the SQL Server Data Warehouse, with the intention of improving run time efficiency, data aggregation processes, among other areas of SQL Server Extended Data Warehouse performance
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study

5+ years of experience developing and deploying production ready business analytics platforms
-
3+ years of experience with big data file systems (ie: SQL Data Warehouse)

3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying data aggregation techniques to abstract structured, semi-structured, streaming and/or unstructured data from various external/ internal sources using the Azure Cloud Platform with Big Data and associated services
-
3+ years of experience in developing in advanced analytics tools and languages ( ie: R, Python, Scala, Java, or C#)
Other

1+ years of experience in cloud-based solutions and associated technology, such as AWS, GCP, OpenStack, CloudStack, IBM Cloud, or Adobe Cloud preferred

1+ years of experience with Power BI preferred

5+ years of experience data modeling, database modeling and integration, advanced / automated SQL query development, as well as applying the concept of data analytics as a business concept preferred
