Role Overview

The Senior Specialist, eCommerce Strategy is a critical contributor to how the organization understands performance, identifies opportunities, and executes winning strategies across the eCommerce channel. This role owns eCommerce and Digital analytics and insights across our Coffee and Beverage Division Business Units, leads cross‑functional collaboration with Commercial Development and Brand, and drives key initiatives including digital shelf excellence, operationalizes AI-and Agentic enablement and data harmonization. The right candidate brings a mix of analytical rigor, strategic thinking, curiosity, and organizational leadership to accelerate the company’s eCommerce growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

eCommerce Channel Insights & Analytics

  • Own end‑to‑end eCommerce insights and analytics across all BU’s and Categories.
  • Develop, maintain, optimize and socialize:
    • Business Health & eCommerce Strategy meeting scorecards
    • eMBR/eQBR consumption data, reporting, and insights
    • Ad hoc analyses and deep‑dive performance investigations
  • Partner with eCommerce Strategists to shape strategy, quantify opportunities, and drive alignment across stakeholders.

 

Post‑Analytics Framework Development

  • Build structured processes to evaluate and prioritize high‑impact strategies.
  • Lead bi‑annual insights shareouts with CD and Brand, synthesizing which tactics drive the greatest measurable improvement in:
    • Assortment execution and performance reporting
    • Pricing & promotions
    • Digital shelf presence and compliance
  • Package findings into playbooks and repeatable growth frameworks.

 

Category Opportunity, Share Analysis & Strategic Prioritization

  • Analyze category performance to identify whitespace and growth opportunities across retailers.
  • Quantify ROI and build models that inform investment allocation and strategic prioritization.
  • Measure and communicate category share trends, competitive gaps, and underlying drivers.
  • Partner with Brand, CD, and Category Management to recommend actions that close share gaps and accelerate growth.

 

Retailer Team Engagement

  • Own key connects with retailer teams to align on data needs, insights, and measurement.
  • Provide consistent, accurate analytics and strategic recommendations for retailer-facing initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted strategic partner to CD teams, shaping retail-specific strategies and supporting sell-in storytelling.

 

Digital Shelf Project Management

  • Partner with Digital Shelf Sr Specialist to co-manage digital shelf initiatives end‑to‑end, ensuring flawless execution and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Work with internal and external partners to enhance content accuracy, discoverability, taxonomy alignment, and conversion-driving elements.
  • Track progress, identify risks, and ensure retailer readiness and compliance across the digital shelf ecosystem.

 

AI Enablement & Data Accuracy Leadership

  • Serve as the team liaison and executor for AI enablement initiatives within the eCommerce Strategy function.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Insights, IT, CD, Brand) to identify AI use cases that enhance productivity and analytical depth.
  • Lead initiatives to ensure data accuracy and harmonization across competitive & business datasets (C&B), improving consistency, usability, and decision‑making quality.
  • Develop quality controls and ongoing monitoring frameworks to ensure the integrity of inputs feeding AI models, dashboards, and insights systems.

 

Budget & PO Management

  • Support team budget operations through proactive purchase order creation and tracking.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, ensure timely invoice processing, and partner with Finance to monitor budget accuracy.
  • Improve internal processes to streamline PO and budget workflows.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Data Science, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in eCommerce, commercial analytics, retail, or strategy roles preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, SQL, or similar tools.
  • Experience with eCommerce retail portals, digital shelf platforms (e.g., Circana, Salsify, Stackline), and syndicated data.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize and present insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with AI/automation tools and comfort contributing to AI-driven workflows a plus.

C&B

The approximate pay range for this position is $97,000 to $138,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
