The consumer / shopper journey from awareness to conversion is experiencing unprecedented change. From eCommerce shopping platforms (grocery pick-up and delivery) to significant advancements in retailer digital media, the CPG retail marketing landscape has changed forever. Winning in this environment requires new capabilities in Consumer Marketing, eCommerce/Omni-Commerce, Technology and Media.
 
The eCommerce Strategy Specialist supports the project planning, development and execution of eCommerce Channel Marketing and Retail Marketing activations for iconic brands like Toll House and Maggi. This role will be responsible for budgeting, briefing and execution of drive time campaigns and solo brand retail media activations online and in-store. The role will be responsible for business analysis, identifying best practices to drive enhanced ROAS, and strong financial rigor in the management of budgets and forecasting. Working in close partnership with OMNI Retail Marketing, Digital Shelf, Sales teams, and our Agency, this position will flawlessly execute strategies to win in the marketplace.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Measures of Success: Improving investment ROI, Enhancing Brand eCommerce presence, Budget-accuracy, On-time execution, Achievement of Sales performance targets, and improving Market Share across our brands.
 
Core Responsibilities

  • Design & execute plans to drive demand and conversion in the eCommerce and Omnichannel space
  • Lead Retailer Paid Search strategy and implementation including: 
  • Retailer and Competitive Assessment
  • Agency Briefing and Project Management
  • Search Strategy Implementation and SOV tracking
  • Execute Insight-Based Promotional Campaigns and Tool Kits for Retail Marketing with the Agency thru strong project management implementation: 
  • Solo Brand and Innovation activations
  • Multi-brand activations
  • Scale event activations

 

Business Analysis and KPI Tracking 

  • Monitor eBusiness and retail marketing KPIs for the Division across key accounts and platforms to ensure Best in Class execution and optimizing for growth.
  • Budget – Oversee execution of investments – non-working and working budgets. Enable stakeholder transparency and ensure strong financial controls are in place. 
  • Lead the development of selling materials for Retail Marketing efforts and collaborate with CD on account selling meetings. 
  • Works independently with general supervision received from the eCommerce Strategy Manager.
  • Achieving corporate objectives on Market Share, Sales Volume Growth, Category Growth, Brand Equity, Brand Health and Marketing ROI. 
  • Aligning corporate and customer objectives to find mutual benefits utilizing roadmaps and CAP. 

 
REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1 year of experience in Sales or Marketing, ecommerce experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Nestlé and its trade customer base preferred
  • Strong marketing and promotion experience
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to influence across Division and other cross functional groups
