We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team and co-pilot the Marketing & Other General Expenses ("MOGE") lines of Nestle USA’s P&L. In this high visibility role, you will play a critical part in translating NUSA MOGE financials to senior leaders in the organization; providing analysis and insights that extend beyond numbers. We are looking for a proactive individual with exceptional communication skills, can work with all levels in the organization, and has experience translating financial analyses into a story.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead monthly and ad-hoc financial reviews with Division Controllers, providing strategic insights of post-allocated MOGE, based on clear understanding of variances and anticipating risks and opportunities to support and influence decision making.
  • Partner cross-functionally to drive budget ownership and adherence to targets through proactive engagement with stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality and accurate financial information through month-end close, quarterly forecasting, and annual budgeting.
  • Use analysis to provide deeper insight to enable leadership to determine where and how to allocate resources effectively.
  • Create and present trade-off scenarios and deliver timely and accurate financial analyses to support recommendations.
  • Build depth of MOGE knowledge, inclusive of White Collar Costing Standards, systems, and tools to and partner with your business to support strategic plans.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Use internal and external benchmarks to drive best-in-class performance.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree required; Finance or Accounting degree preferred
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in Finance or related roles
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial analysis, data modeling, advanced Excel skills, storytelling, and Power BI
  • Demonstrated understanding of activity-based costing, financial concepts, and period end close
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and generate actionable insights to drive financial performance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders at any level
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively anticipate needs of stakeholders, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
